Cancellations

Mystic Whiskers Cat Care is a sole proprietorship and owner operated. A cancellation of a booking or shortening of a booking can have a profound effect on us. If a booking is cancelled with ten days or less notice, it is nearly impossible to fill those dates with another client. Therefore, if you cancel your booking, the cancellation will be dealt with in accordance with the following schedule.

Non-Holiday Cancellations

Mystic Whiskers Cat Care requires a minimum 7 days advance notice for cancellation of any scheduled cat sitting service. Failure to provide 7 days notice will result in a cancellation fee of no less than 50% of the invoice for the cancelled service. Policy includes shortening of any scheduled service by 2 or more days. Example: Client books MWCC for days 12 days of service and then changes their booking to 7 days of service. Failure to provide 7 days notice of this type of change will result in a cancellation fee of no less than 50% of the invoice for the cancelled service days.

Failure to provide 4 days advance notice for cancellation of any scheduled service will result in a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the invoice of the scheduled service. Policy includes shortening of any scheduled service by 2 or more days. Example: Client books MWCC for days 12 days of service and then changes their booking to 7 days of service. Failure to provide 4 days notice of this type of change will result in a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the invoice for the cancelled service days.

Returning home early is the same as a last minute cancellation and is charged at 100% of the original scheduled service.

Holiday Cancellations

Holidays are our peak service periods. Peak holidays are Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Years.

Mystic Whiskers Cat Care requires a minimum 10 days advance notice for cancellation of any scheduled cat sitting service during peak holiday periods. Failure to provide 10 days notice will result in a cancellation fee of no less than 50% of the invoice for the cancelled service. Policy includes shortening of any scheduled service by 2 or more days. Example: Client books MWCC for days 11 days of service and then changes their booking to 7 days of service. Failure to provide 10 days notice of this type of change will result in a cancellation fee of no less than 50% of the invoice for the cancelled service days.

Trip Insurance
